Our Technical Manager and Project Manager, responsible for our material testing and database, will present a case study on a showcase being engineered for the upcoming Obama Presidential Library. Highlighting how we apply lessons learned, material protocols, conservation practices and NARA specifications to our design engineering. We will present a series of “anatomical” slides demonstrating the construction and composition of our showcases for this project and how we integrate technology and conservation into the function of showcase performance.
