UMFA Collections and Storage Tour, Monday, May 20, 2-5:30 pm

Start your time in Salt Lake City with a visit to the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. You will have an opportunity to tour the storage areas with the collections department and tour the galleries with a curator. This tour would be especially useful for attendees from small- and medium-sized institutions with tight storage spaces, and institutions looking at examples for seismic mitigation.

You will also get to view the Chiura Obata: Layer by Layer special installation which presents an in-depth look at the conservation of Chiura Obata’s Horses screen. This artwork will be the subject of an Opening General Session Talk.
The tour will depart from the Marriott City Creek Hotel.
