Join us for an historic and modern walking tour of South Temple Street, including an interior tour of the Governor's Mansion! This tour is 3 hours.

Depart with your guide at 2:30 pm from the Marriott City Creek. First up will be a tour of the north side of S. Temple St., including brief overview of restoration work on Temple Square, ZCMI cast iron façade, Hotel Utah, Lion House, Beehive House, Eagle Gate, Elk’s Club, Cathedral of the Madeleine, Presbyterian Church, Wall Mansion, Steiner Building, and Keith Mansion. At 3:30 pm, we will take a guided tour of the inside of Governor’s Mansion. By 4:30 pm, we will resume walking along the south side of Temple Street, learning about buildings including Matthew Walker Mansion, Thompson Home, Governor’s Plaza, restoration of Medical Arts Building, electric car garage, IBM Building 2 and 1, UEA Building, Hagenbarth House (Larkin Mortuary), Alta Club, Gardo House (lost), and City Creek Center. You'll arrive back at the Marriott City Creek at 5:30 pm.
